Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie
This smoothie will fill your holiday sweet potato pie Jones!
Ingredients
- 6 ounces of baked sweet potato, peeled
- 12 ounces milk
- 1 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 cubes of ice
- Pinch of salt
- Dash of nutmeg for blending and garnishing
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in blender and blend on high for 2 minutes until well blended and smooth.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
Notes
Please use any sweetener that you desire! Sweet Potatoes are naturally sweet so you can adjust sweetness to your personal taste. Dates and date syrup are nice sweeteners that pair well with the flavors involved. A few drops of stevia work well as a sweetner if thats your jam. A shot of Bourbon in this smoothie ie simply delightful as are chocolate chips as well as a fresh piece of ginger and/or turmeric. Feel free to make adjustments to suit your palate.
